Jewelry Size Guide

The right jewelry size depends on both a measurement and the way you want the piece to sit. Use this guide as a starting point, then review the exact options and dimensions shown on the product page.

Before you measure

  • Use a flexible measuring tape or a non-stretch strip of paper.
  • Measure against the skin without pulling tightly.
  • Repeat the measurement at least twice.
  • Record the unit you used so inches and centimeters are not confused.
  • Compare the result with a similar piece that already fits the way you like.

Body measurements can change with temperature, time of day, and activity. If you are between sizes, consider the product's width, profile, and intended fit before choosing.

Ring size

For a ring, measure either your finger or the inside diameter of a ring that already fits the same finger.

When measuring a finger, wrap the strip around the widest point the ring must pass over. Mark where the ends meet, lay the strip flat, and measure that length. It should feel secure without compressing the skin.

Wider bands can feel more fitted than slim bands in the same nominal size. Stacking several rings can also change the amount of space they occupy. Read how to measure ring size for a step-by-step method.

Necklace length

Necklace length is the end-to-end chain measurement, not the vertical drop. The same listed length can sit differently depending on neck circumference, chain construction, pendant weight, and clothing.

Use a soft tape to trace the path where you want the necklace to sit. If you are planning a layered look, measure each position separately and leave enough space for every chain to remain visible.

Our necklace length guide explains how to compare lengths without relying on a one-size-fits-all placement chart.

Bracelet size

Measure around the wrist where the bracelet will sit. Keep the tape close to the skin, then add room according to the fit you prefer and the construction of the bracelet.

A fine chain may need less ease than a rigid or substantial design. A bracelet with large links can also feel shorter internally than a fine chain with the same listed length.

Anklet size

Measure around the ankle at the exact height where you want the anklet to rest. Check that the path clears the ankle bone comfortably and consider how the piece will move when walking.

Do not assume your ankle measurement from a bracelet size. Measure the ankle directly and compare the result with the available length and extender details on the product page.

For both categories, see the bracelet and anklet sizing guide.
