Diamond Quality
Diamond quality is not one number. Origin, shape, cut, color, clarity, carat weight, dimensions, and the setting each answer a different question. The details available for Mythara jewelry vary by design and are stated on the individual product page.
Begin with stone identity and origin
A diamond may be described as lab-grown when it was created in a controlled laboratory environment. Cubic zirconia and other simulants are different materials and are identified by their own names. A photograph cannot confirm identity or origin, so compare the stone details stated for each design.
Read color and clarity separately
On the D-to-Z diamond color scale, D begins the colorless end. E and F are adjacent grades in the colorless range. Color is separate from clarity, which describes internal and surface characteristics evaluated under magnification.
- VVS means very, very slightly included.
- VS means very slightly included.
- The numbers 1 and 2 distinguish grades within each category.

Look at the whole piece
When the information is available, also compare:
- Diamond shape, count, and dimensions
- Center-stone weight and total carat weight
- Cut, polish, and symmetry details
- Setting style and surrounding metal
- The scale and dimensions of the finished jewelry
- Whether a named grading report is explicitly included
