Regular care helps maintain the appearance of solid 14K gold and lab-grown diamond jewelry.

Before wearing your jewelry

  • Apply fragrance, lotion, cosmetics, and hair products first.
  • Remove jewelry before exercise, swimming, or household work.
  • Keep pieces away from chlorine, abrasive cleaners, and household chemicals.

After wear and storage

  • Wipe each piece gently with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Store pieces separately to help reduce scratching and tangling.
  • Fasten necklaces and bracelets before storing them.

Clean gently

For many solid-gold and diamond pieces, use this simple routine:

  1. Add a small amount of mild soap to warm water.
  2. Soak the piece briefly.
  3. Clean gently with a very soft brush, including around the setting.
  4. Rinse in a bowl of clean water.
  5. Pat dry completely with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Check settings and clasps

Inspect your jewelry periodically. If a setting catches on fabric, a stone appears loose, or a clasp no longer feels secure, stop wearing the piece and have it inspected by a professional jeweler.
